The Pacific Northwest

This is my favorite place on earth. We have traveled to lots of US cities and a number of countries in Europe, but this…this is it for me. Mountains, oceans, forests, major cities, family and friends. I utterly adore the Pacific Northwest. This was my husband and son’s first time out here and it was a perfect week. They got to finally meet my father’s side of the family, see this beautiful region and attend my best friend’s wedding. We did so much in 7 days! We started in Kelso, Washington and made our way to the incredible Cannon Beach in Oregon. After bittersweet goodbyes to our family, we drove up to Seattle to stay at an awesome AirBNB in my favorite neighborhood, Fremont. We took long walks around the city and ate lots (and lots) of snacks. Our last big adventure was Gwen and Nick’s wedding, which will be featured in my next post!
